The municipal technical services have always maintained the village and its historical monuments from year to year. In January 2022, I took advantage of one of these cleaning / maintenance of the Saint-Martin de Gallargues church to take photos of the interior of the nave as well as the bell tower.

The Saint-Martin church in Gallargues-le-Montueux dates from the 11th century. You can read the historical aspects on this site patrimoine-gallargues.fr. It is closed except for ceremonies or concerts, the program is posted outside. The Saint-Martin church was renovated between 1999-2002 by the Historic Monuments and the town.
For legitimate reasons, it is no longer open to the public. The construction of this church required an enormous amount of work, but its maintenance over hundreds of years also requires certain immutable convictions.
When the photos were taken, the rays of the 11 a.m. infiltrated through the stained glass windows and gave a warm and relaxing atmosphere to the nave. I hope you will have the same impression as me.
