Gallargues, a village that is dying out

Large real estate projects were undertaken at the start of the COVID-19 lockdown period. Since then, the entrance to the village has been continually under construction. This entrance to the village also foreshadows its streets, which are very quiet day and night and from summer to winter.
The pleasant designation "small village in the south of France" can no longer be applied to Gallargues. For former Gallarguois residents, the village has become the playground for various real estate projects. Many regret the friendly, reassuring atmosphere that the previous mayors Roger Julien and René Pourreau took care to maintain.
