The pine forests ravaged by the huge fire of July 31, 2022 have just been razed: there remains a hill covered with blackened tree stumps. Elsewhere, on the local road called "the path from Aubais to Gallargues", only weeds grow through the ashes. Burnt resinous species don't seem to be picking up yet.
Let's hope this ecological disaster doesn't turn into a real estate windfall.
