The temple of Gallargues-le-M.: historical monument and religious building
Faith and political ambitions allowed the renovation of the temple of Gallargues-le-Montueux. The ceiling and roof have just been replaced identically from the end of 2019 to March 2020.
Between February 2020 and July 2020, the SELE company is renovating the stones of the main entrance with its columns, vaults and its bell tower . The 4 one-minute videos show the replacement of the entrance bugets, the sculpted stones of the bell tower, the cornice and the gigantic lintel supporting the entrance vault.
I particularly thank Marc and Abdul, stonemasons specializing in historical monuments from the SELE company, for allowing me to film in all these delicate situations. Because the stones often weigh tens of kilos, and sometimes hundreds, and handling them at height requires a lot of concentration and calm.
